Our Scouts cut quite a pose in their uniform shirts and swimming trunks getting loaded up for this year's summer camp. Below, Alex tosses corn bags, Jeffy gets carried off after a Dodgeball tournament victory, our Greenbar Scouts celebrate a timber hitch log relay win, our Scouts swim at dawn, and then finish the first day of Swimming merit badge that afternoon.

Boundary Waters High Adventure 2009
The lakes of northern Minnesota welcomed 24 of our hardy Scouts and adults with rolling rapids, portages, fresh Northern Pike and Walleye fillets, and plenty of wildlife. Besides beaver, bald eagle, mule deer, and sea gulls (Tyler), we even caught one mini-bear. We stuck to eating the fresh fish and morning pancakes though. Have a good time up 'der, didya?
April Wilderness Survival Weekend
Troop 8 Scouts built shelters out of sticks and bamboo, navigated for food, and built fires to warm themselves in a very cool Spring campout. This popular outing separates the men (in tents and sleeping bags) from the boys (in their cow pasture village). The merit badge is fine, but the best part... NO RAIN!
